  • In Pointorama there a three user types that each have a different role.

    • An admin is in charge of an organisation and is responsible for its subscription.  This person can add and remove users or change user roles. All projects of the organisation are fully accessible for the admin.
    • A member has full access to all projects of an organisation. A member can create new projects.
    • Admins and members can share projects with guests. A guest only has access to projects of an organisation after invitation.  This person can’t create new projects. He is only allowed to (re)view shared projects and add comments.

    Please note that the number of users (admins, members and guests) is unlimited!

  • Your data will remain stored for one month. After three weeks you will receive an e-mail that the data will remain safe for another week. After another 5 days you will receive a notification that your data will be discarded after 2 more days.

  • Is there a maximum file size for one point cloud?

    There is no maximum file size, but there is an absolute maximum amount of points in all active pointclouds. The maximum amount is based on the chosen plan. For more info, check out the different plans.

  • Which pricing plan is right for me?

    We offer three distinct pricing plans:

    • Launch: Designed for teams who work with point clouds occasionally.
    • Grow: Ideal for teams approaching storage limits or requiring additional support.
    • Scale: Tailored for teams with a core business focus on daily point cloud processing.

    These plans are structured to accommodate a range of usage scenarios, ensuring you can choose the one that aligns best with your specific requirements.

  • What are the system requirements for Pointorama?

    • Recent browser such as MS Edge, Google Chrome or Mozilla firefox
    • Internet speed: download:100Mbps – upload: 10 Mbps
    • OpenGL 4.0 graphics card

     

  • Which file formats are supported?

    Pointorama supports LAS, LAZ, E57, PTS en XYZ.

  • Which browsers and operating systems are supported by Pointorama?

    Pointrorama can run on the most popular browsers in Windows, MacOS, iOS and Android. These browsers are Google Chrome, MS Edge, Safari and Firefox.

  • How can I get started with Pointorama?

    Quite fast.

    Just set up your account, confirm it’s you by clicking on the link in the confirmation e-mailand and you can start the free trial.

    If you haven’t received a confirmation mail, it’s probably stored in your spam-box.

  • Pointorama uses security measures to protect all your data from unauthorized access and unauthorized use. Your personal data and your point clouds are safe with us!

  • What are the limitations in number of users or projects?

    The number of users and projects is unlimited in all plans!

    You can collaborate freely without any limitations or additional charges. However, keep in mind that you need sufficient storage capacity to host all the projects of your organisation.

  • Is there a discount for annual subscriptions?

    Yes! When you opt for an annual subscription your pay for only 10 months.

  • Are there any additional costs?

    No, there aren’t.

    We believe in transparency and straightforward pricing.
    There are no hidden costs or extra fees. What you see is what you get.

  • Your subscription will automatically renew until you cancel.

    We hate to see you go, but if you really want to cancel please email us on support@pointorama.com.

  • Simply log in to the app and click on your username. From there, select ‘Users and guests’ and click on ‘+ Add new member’. You’ll then be prompted to determine the status of the new user (whether they’re a member or an admin) and connect their email address to the account.

    A regular guest can be invited in a project by hitting the share button.

    It’s that easy.

  • Do I need an account to access the point cloud processing platform?

    Yes, in order to use Pointorama, you need to create an account.
